Pangerang Community Hub is gearing up for its 11th annual art exhibition this November.
Each year, the Ovens Street neighbourhood house invites artists to produce pieces celebrating a strong female leader in the local community.
This year, Pangerang has asked local groups, including the Country Women's Association, North East Multicultural Association and Wangaratta Art School, to join the Pangerang community itself in selecting someone from their own community to celebrate.
Participants are each working on their own pieces for contribution to the exhibition.
Pangerang has partnered this year with Wangaratta Art School, which has supported its art program in 2025, introducing students to different art mediums such as textured art, fabric painting, paint pouring, collage, acrylics, watercolour and folk art.

The art exhibition will be held in the Bainz Gallery at the Wangaratta Library from Friday, 7 November, with an opening on this day between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
