As the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues swings into town, the Plough Inn in Tarrawingee is once again turning up the volume with its own grassroots celebration of blues music at TarraBlues3 from 1-2 November.
Now in its third year, the festival has become a beloved companion event, offering a laid-back, intimate experience in the scenic grounds of the historic pub.
Owner Phil Lithgow says the festival has grown in reputation and spirit, drawing music lovers from across the region.
“Everyone has had a great time,” he said.
“They love the atmosphere, the sound, sitting in the shade listening to great blues music.
