B GRADE
Euroa’s first game of the season for B Grade was at home at Friendlies, hosting Karramomus in Round one.
Captain Jye Bjorksten won the toss and elected to bat on a pitch made for batting.
Will Jackson and Declan Redfern opened the batting and got off to a fast start, reaching 30 within 4.1 overs before Redfern was bowled.
Josh Robertson joined Jackson at the crease and continued the run fest, adding 41 for the second wicket before Robertson was bowled.

Co-captain Nic Hill joined Jackson in the middle and put on a 55 run partnership for the third wicket before a mix up saw Nic run out, and two balls later Will was also run out on 58.
After Bjorksten was caught, Lachie Hill and Ethan Saxon combined for a 112-run partnership, both making quick-fire 50s before Hill was bowled for 71.
Linc McKernan came in for the final 10 balls.
Euroa ended on a massive 7/317 from their 45 overs and defended that score with ease, taking all of Karramomus' wickets by the 20th over.
Will Jackson, Ollie Wilson, and Josh Robertson each took one wicket.
Euroa won by a mammoth 154 runs, with Karramomus finishing on 3-163.
Euroa’s next game is on Friday, 1 November, against Waaia at Friendlies.

D GRADE
Euroa travelled to Numurkah for round one of D Grade.
Captain Connor McCombe won the toss and sent Numurkah into bat first.
Numurkah started quickly, but McCombe broke the opening partnership by trapping the opener LBW on 29.
Euroa had to wait for their next breakthrough when Phil Thompson took an outstanding one-handed catch behind the stumps off Henry Jackson’s bowling, breaking a 47-run partnership at 2/76.
Seven overs later, Mitch Gleeson hit the stumps to leave Numurkah 3/105 with 10 overs left.
Jack Wilson broke a 48-run partnership for the fourth wicket, Henry took another great catch, and Wilson claimed another two wickets, with Henry and Jack Walters taking additional wickets in the final over.
Numurkah finished on 7-158 off 40 overs.
The Euroa chase began well, with Phil Thompson and Leo Murphy putting on 36 for the first wicket before Murphy was caught.
Tim Swift continued from where he left off last season, top scoring with 61 not out, including a six over midwicket.
Mitch Saunders contributed a valuable 33, while McCombe finished 11 not out, hitting the winning runs.
Euroa won by seven wickets, finishing 3/159.
