Local kids eagerly approached this year's Sport and Rec Expo on Friday, 17 October to discover the variety of sport and recreational activities on offer.

Organised by the Wangaratta Youth Council, the expo played host to some 26 clubs and activities from across the region, some of which included the Wangaratta Kennel and Obedience Dog Club, Warcry Wangaratta, Wangaratta Dragons Hockey Club, Jubilee Golf Club, and Wangaratta Royals Incline Hockey.

The expo, which was held at the Barr Reserve, serves as a 'come and try' day for those seeking to enlist in local activities around the region, and allows local organisations to promote themselves to potential members.

Whether or not attendees left with a newfound passion for a particular activity, it was an enlightening experience for all.
