A hoon driver has had his vehicle impounded after being clocked at more than 100kh/h over the speed limit in Wangaratta.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said local officers intercepted a black sedan after it was clocked speeding at 188km/h in the 80km/h zone on Tone Road on Thursday night.
The driver will appear at Wangaratta Magistrates' Court at a later date.
"Let's hope this serves as a wake-up call for everyone to respect speed limits," the police spokesperson said.
