We fared better in Round two of pennant with five of our six sides coming up trumps.
Divisions one and four in Midweek prevailed, as did all three Weekend Pennant sides, results we can savour before getting back to work to prepare for the weeks ahead.
Midweek Division one proved too strong for Seymour in a clash played at home, with the rink of Ken Sutcliffe, Bill Taylor, Anne Sutcliffe, and Margaretha Cerini dominating to win 36–6.
The other two rinks put in strong performances in see-sawing battles before just falling short.
Division three also played at home but found the Tatura Hill Top combination too strong, with only one rink securing points.
