Better spectating of netball and finer grasses are the order of the day for two distinctly different sport clubs who have each benefitted from Strathbogie Shire’s recent round of community funding.
The Nagambie Football Netball Club has secured $10,000 to install new spectator seating alongside their netball courts, and in Euroa the Croquet Club was given the same amount for purchasing a new mower.
Euroa Croquet Club president Bernice McKinn said the club was 'terribly grateful' for the grant.
"We are very grateful, indeed," Bernice said.
"The council has been quite supportive of the club over the years, and this is the third grant I have been involved with as president to have come through."
