Midweek Pennant Division two
Avenel 0–34 was defeated by Shepparton Golf 16–80.
Jenny Furletti, Graham Lewis, Charlie Kemp and skip Geoff Hateley stayed in the contest until the 15th end, before Shepparton Golf stormed home by winning five of the last six ends to seal a 23–10 result.
Similarly, Rusty Schwab, Grace Kenworthy, Dennis McGregor and skip Spud Furletti were right in the game until smoko.

After the break, Shepparton Golf lifted a gear, scoring two fives to take control and run out 28–13 winners.
Moiann Papageorgiou, Kate Donovan, Fay Hateley and skip Noel Slater struggled to gain momentum, with Shepparton Golf proving too strong in a dominant 29–11 victory.

Avenel 12–47 defeated Colbinabbin 2–30.
Elaine Mason, Pam Pedder, Marg Harrison and skip Marion Gittus took control early, jumping to a 10–0 lead after four ends.
Avenel finished strongly, winning six of the last seven ends to claim a convincing 30–10 win.
Meanwhile, Robyn Hyland, Mark Morse, Ron Harrison and skip Bill O’Connor fought hard after being seven down early.
They clawed back to level scores by the 18th end, but Colbinabbin held on to win three of the last four ends to take the match 20–17.
Weekend Pennant Division two
Avenel 16–85 defeated Nagambie 2–73.
Rusty Schwab, Grace Kenworthy, Josh McDonald and skip Brett McDonald staged a determined comeback from seven down mid-game.
With just one end remaining, Avenel led by two and finished in style with a five on the final end to secure a 23–16 win.
The team of Moiann Papageorgiou, Kate Donovan, Fay Hateley, and skip Noel Slater maintained the lead from the third end.
Seven shots across the 17th and 18th ends extended their margin, resulting in a well-earned 24–19 victory.
In another thriller, Jenny Furletti, Charlie Kemp, James Wall, and skip Jake Wall came from behind to snatch a 19–16 win after being two shots down on the 16th end.
Dennis McGregor, Graham Lewis, Spud Furletti, and skip Geoff Hateley remained in striking distance all day, trailing narrowly before Nagambie closed out the final two ends to win 22–19.
Weekend Pennant Division six
Avenel 12–53 defeated Merrigum 2–35.
Walter Pedder, Elaine Mason, Pam Pedder, and skip Donna Rowley made a blistering start, racing to a 13–0 lead after five ends, including a six.
Winning 16 of the 21 ends featuring another six on the 17th and it was testament to a dominant all round performance.
The combination of Kyle Pedder, Mark Morse, Marion Gittus and skip Ross Sinclair led early and were up 12–11 after 14 ends.
However, Merrigum finished strongly, winning six of the last seven ends to take the match 23–13.
