Inaugural sale set for success at Jade Park Angus

PROSPECTIVE buyers need to mark the date in their calendar - Tuesday March 26 - as Jade Park Angus's inaugural bull sale shapes up to be an event not to be missed.

With the auction kicking off at 1pm, 50 bulls will be going under the hammer with the on-farm sale offset on Auctions Plus.

A full bull sale catalogue and individual lot videos are available on request, featuring a strong selection of impressive progeny from such sires as Taimate Lazarus L12, Rennylea L519, Murdeduke Quarterback Q011, Millah Murrah Paratrooper P15, Premier Napa R72 and Turiroa Ragnar P224..

"The sale represents an exciting opportunity for others to access our Jade Park genetics, and there will be some truly outstanding bulls available on the day," said Andrew.

“Featuring throughout the sale are the six flush brothers to standout bull, Jade Park ‘Triceratops’ T281.

"They are sired by New Zealand bull Taimate ‘Lazarus’ L12 crossed with our fantastic donor cow, Jade Park M45.

"Lazarus is an influential bull in this sale at Jade Park with 17 well-muscled, early maturing son’s giving buyers plenty of consistent options.

"Infusing New Zealand genetics into our foundation herd has really paid off with a consistent animal type.

"Our focus has always been to breed functional, fertile cattle with a strong emphasis on a natural, docile temperament.

"Temperament would have to be one of our drawcards.

Run by Andrew and Lisa McLean and their two sons, Samuel and Angus, Jade Park Angus is situated on 1000 acres in Hansonville, at the entrance to the King Valley.
