Every year, 'Wolverton' at Maindample celebrates the festive season with a different theme, setting up the entrance to the cattle property with decorated haybales.

Owner Rachel Parsons said that this year they decided to set–up the display earlier to add a bit of Christmas cheer to a very wet and overcast Spring.

"We've had to contend with a bit of damage to the display as a result," she said.

"Poor Santa keeps on getting blown down and we have to retrieve him.

"And his umbrella has been broken."
