A record number of competitors entered Sunday’s Annual Don Barns Memorial Point Score Championship, with Alexandra veteran Fred Heinze emerging the winner after shooting an impressive 149/150.
The event is supported by the Barns family in memory of Don Barns, a long-standing and valued member of the club.
The second championship contested was the Les Comensoli Double Barrel, generously sponsored by Les Comensoli.
Due to the approaching darkness, the AA grade finalists agreed to share the prize after both scored 19/19 in their final.
The club extended its appreciation to the Rochester Bakery for sponsoring the pastries that kept everyone well fed throughout the day.
