With an astonishing 50 stage productions combined, world-class leading artists, Marina Prior and Michael Cormick have united for their first full length tour titled CENTRESTAGE, coming to the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre in November.
Friends for decades since first performing together in the production of CATS in 1986, the pair are now taking their remarkable voices and stage craft on tour around the country.
Accompanied by renowned pianist Andrew Ross for the two-hour show, Marina and Michael will perform songs from their hit musicals including gorgeous duets, iconic show tunes plus their own personal and crowd favourites - and the onstage chemistry is captivating.
Marina Prior is regarded as Australia’s leading lady of musical theatre.
Awarded with a Member of the Order of Australia in 2023, she is best known for her roles in Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of Penzance, Cats, Les Miserables, Die Fledermaus, Anything Goes, West Side Story, 9 To 5 The Musical - just to name a few - and performances with Richard Harris, Jose Carreras and Il Divo.
It’s just not Christmas in Australia until Marina takes the stage at the annual Carols By Candlelight at the Melbourne Myer Music Bowl, now notching up over 30 performances.
Marina also starred in the ABC television series The Divorce and released 14 albums thus far in her acclaimed career, and since 2017 she has appeared with David Hobson in over 200 sell-out performances of The 2 Of Us around the country.
Michael Cormick is an internationally renowned singer and actor with a diverse career throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe.
In Australia, he originated the role of The Beast in the original Australian production of Beauty & The Beast opposite Hugh Jackman, and his other stage credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia!, Cabaret and many more.

Wangaratta Artists Society 2025 annual exhibition
The Wangaratta Artists Society's 2025 annual exhibition will open at The Studio in Bachelor's Green on Wednesday, 29 October at 6pm.
This highly anticipated annual showcase will feature works from society members and participating artists, offering visitors the opportunity to view and purchase original artworks across a variety of mediums and styles.
The exhibition runs from October 29 to November 4, open daily from 10am to 4pm and entry is free, but a gold coin donation would be much appreciated.

Strictly Quilts at the Uniting Church Hall
The 2025 Strictly Quilts exhibition will be held at the Uniting Church Hall in Rowan Street, Wangaratta from Friday, 31 October to Monday, 3 November.
See beautiful display of quilts made by quilters in the Wangaratta region, enjoy a Devonshire team and be in the running to win a raffle prize, including twin quilts made and donated by Donna Hughes.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4pm and entry to the show is $5 per person.

Oxley Bush Market on cup weekend
The 44th Annual Oxley Bush Market to be held on Saturday, 1 November from 9am to 2.30pm.
There will be 160 stalls to browse showcasing a range of home-made, home-produced, home-grown, upcycled and new items, with a particular focus on supporting local producers and makers.
There will also be gourmet food trucks and stalls, entertainment by local musicians and buskers, and a monster raffle, with entry free and all welcome.
