Cathedral College Wangaratta celebrated the graduating class of 2025 this week with a series of events and ceremonies.

The celebrations commenced with a final chapel service, followed by a valedictory ceremony attended by teachers, extended family and friends, where students were formally recognised for their contributions to the college community and presented with graduation certificates and commemorative sashes.

Students led their own farewell assembly, where they were honoured by their peers and teachers.

Their prep buddies wished them well, and students spoke of their time at Cathedral College, acknowledging the support and guidance of their teachers and support staff, and the love of their families.

The traditional guard of honour saw the whole college community line the pathways to cheer and applaud the year 12 students as they made their symbolic final walk through the grounds to the front gates.

The festivities culminated in the formal graduation dinner, held at The Oaks Wangaratta, where students, families, and staff gathered to mark the end of an era.

"These events are a powerful reminder of the strong and close-knit community we have at Cathedral College Wangaratta," principal Nick Jones said.

"We are incredibly proud of our graduates and excited to see the positive impact they will make in the world beyond our gates."
