UNDER 12s GIRLS
By TANYA PEACOCK
What a way to finish the season.
The girls delivered their best performance yet, showcasing energy, teamwork, and skill from start to finish.
Despite a challenging headwind, Euroa dominated play in Shepparton South’s half right from the first whistle, keeping the opposition under constant pressure.
Charlotte opened the scoring early, helping settle the nerves, and went on to finish with an impressive hat trick.
A kindly gifted goal from Shepparton South took Euroa to 4 to 0 at half time.
Bailey shone in the forward line, scoring two sensational goals, with Remy and Ella also getting in on the action.
While the defence had a quieter day, the girls kept morale high through strong leadership.
Congratulations to Bailey who was awarded Best on Ground and to the team which was undefeated all season, scoring an incredible 125 goals while conceding only one.
Their consistent effort, skill, and teamwork truly earned them the Under 12 Girls trophy.
A huge thank you to coaches Stuart and Yvonne for their guidance throughout the year and to team manager Tanya
And of course the families for all of that effort, from driving girls to training to the Wednesday dinners.
Beyond the scoreboard, the girls consistently play their roles, lift each other up, celebrate one another’s achievements, and always show encouragement and unity.
It was a season to remember.

UNDER 12s BOYS
By HAYLEY ROWAN
The stage was set on the weekend for a thrilling Under 12 Boys soccer Grand Final between ladder leaders Shepparton City and the determined Euroa boys.
The crowd built, nerves mounted, and Shep City struck early, finding the net within minutes.
Euroa soon steadied, with defenders Jayden, Owen, Liam, Lucas, and Dex holding firm against relentless pressure.
In the midfield, Jasper, Nick, Tyler, and Leo battled fiercely, while Harry and Luca rotated between attack and the middle, searching for openings.
Despite their grit, Shep City doubled their lead before half time.
Euroa came out firing in the second half.
Luca broke through to give his side hope, and moments later Jasper slotted the equaliser to send the crowd into raptures.
A late penalty to Shep City looked decisive, but Liam’s heroic save kept Euroa alive.
At 2–2, extra time couldn’t separate the sides, leading to penalties.
Tension gripped the ground with every shot, but Shep City edged ahead to claim victory.
Though heartbroken, Euroa walked away proud, having displayed courage, spirit, and immense progress in a first season made possible by coaches Rusty and Scott, and club founders Yvonne and Stuart Divers.
