The Euroa Soccer Club held its first ever end-of-season presentation on Saturday 13 September at the Euroa Showgrounds, with over 100 players, families, and supporters in attendance.
Coach Brent Moore welcomed everyone to the special occasion before handing over to the club’s coaches, who took centre stage to present trophies and medals to the young players.
The event was a chance to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the club’s first season, with smiles all around as players received recognition for their efforts on the field.
Coaches were also acknowledged for their commitment, receiving gifts in appreciation of the time and energy they devoted to training and guiding the children throughout the season.
Yvonne, a key organiser, shared her heartfelt thanks:
"Thank you all so much for today, and for the generous and delicious gift - I have already eaten all the chocolate honeycomb," she said.
You are a wonderful group of people, giving your time to train and nurture these kids and share their journey this season.
What a wonderful first season it has been.
It is a big commitment, and I hope one you’ve all enjoyed and hopefully you will be back next year."
The Euroa Soccer Club also hinted at a few upcoming announcements for the community, including opportunities for members to join the club committee.
Those interested in helping shape the club’s future are encouraged to express their interest via a newly created form.
The first season of Euroa Soccer Club has clearly set a strong foundation, and community spirit is already building for next season.
