Melbourne Royal on lookout for this year’s emerging leaders

THE Melbourne Royal Emerging Leaders awards seek each year to recognise the next generation of agricultural and show leaders.

With two awards now accepting entries, the Melbourne Royal Emerging Leader of Victoria Award (ELVA) and the Melbourne Royal Rising Star Award, the search is on to find individuals working to secure the future of agriculture and showing.

The ELVA recognises a Victorian between the age of 18-35 that works, volunteers or significantly contributes within the agricultural industry, and can demonstrate how they will use prize money to further their development.

Recipients of this award will receive a cash prize to support their development within their agricultural field along with a Melbourne Royal industry experience and networking package for the 2024 show.

The Melbourne Royal Rising Star Award recognises a Victorian between the age of 16-30 who demonstrates the Melbourne Royal values of first at local or regional show level, playing a key role in its delivery with a focus on working to secure the future of agricultural shows in Victoria.

Recipients of this award will receive a cash prize to aid in furthering their experience and development with agricultural shows in their region along with a Melbourne Royal industry experience and networking package for the 2024 show.

With fantastic cash prizes and networking opportunities built into the award winner package, help the Melbourne Royal Emerging Leaders to celebrate and develop the next generation of agricultural leaders by nominating someone in your network.
