FROM humble beginnings commencing as a junior livestock agent in April 1995, Dan Ivone was the founder of what is now a local company, Nutrien Ivone Agencies.
Servicing the North East in both local and export cattle sales, stud sales, feature special sales and livestock management, it was in 2001 that his brother Bernard joined the team adding real estate sales - specializing in residential, rural, commercial properties and property management - to the Nutrien Ivone portfolio.
In recent years the brothers have joined forces with Nutrien Ag Solutions, one of Australia’s largest agribusinesses, to branch into farm merchandise, insurance, finance and in conjunction with Sam Cunneen of High-Country Spreading, supplying and spreading of fertiliser, pasture booster, urea, lime and other fertiliser blends.
These are available either in bulk with on-farm deliveries or bulka bags of specialty products.
At their new site (which is still undergoing some renovations) on Myrtle Street in Myrtleford, Nutrien Ivone Agencies now offer a wide range of animal health products including drenches, vaccines, supplementary lick blocks, calf pellets and blends.

The agency also stocks an extensive range of fencing products from wire to posts (including steel, concrete and pine) to a range of farm gates and electric fencing equipment alongside western fencing and cattle yard equipment including panels, cattle crushes and hay feeders.
Also available is dog and chicken food, crop chemicals for weed control, pasture and grass seed plus an ever-growing range of other items as room permits.
