A1 bounce back with strong win at home

A1: Wangaratta Hyundai A1 bounced back from last week’s disappointing fade out, securing a strong win at home against one of last year’s finalists Rutherglen on Saturday.

Trevor Selwood, Laurie McDonald, Tom Morrow and Jan Hermassoo gained two valuable rink points when they looked down and out going into the last end 4 shots in arrears, but pulled a rabbit out of the hat to claim six shots and win (18-16), While Phil Davers rink dropped the last eight shots of their game to lose (18-23).
