Australian farmers have always understood that healthy soil is the foundation of productive agriculture.
What's changing is how we support that soil biology while maintaining the practical, cost-effective approaches that keep operations viable.
Ocean2Earth, based in the Bega Valley, has developed a system that works with conventional farming practices while addressing two critical challenges: rising input costs and declining soil health.
Our approach centres on key foundational products; Biologically Activated Minerals (BAM) and Sea Spray (hydrolysate), both designed to activate and stimulate the soil and plants.
BAM is applied through standard belt spreading equipment, boosting microbial activity and reducing dependence on synthetic fertilizers.

Sea Spray, a fish hydrolysate rich in marine minerals and amino acids, delivers nutrients directly to plant roots and leaves, working effectively even in challenging conditions like cold soils.
Ocean2Earth has expanded its precision nutrition range with new foliar applications including N-Plus, Trace-Plus, Foliar and Cal-Mag-Plus.
These liquid formulations target specific nutrient deficiencies while supporting soil biology and nutrient uptake/availability through the addition of ocean inputs and organic acids.
"We're not trying to reinvent farming," said Kyran Crane from Ocean2Earth.
"We're working with natural processes that farmers have always relied on.
"Our circular economy approach turns seafood industry waste into valuable biology and nutrition, diverting hundreds of tons annually from landfill while providing farmers with cost-effective alternatives to synthetic inputs."
Ocean2Earth products can be used on their own or integrated into broader fertiliser programs to improve efficiency and soil outcomes, without compromising production.
